Electric Monkey to publish major new YA fantasy series from Tahereh Mafi

Farshore is excited to announce that in 2018 we will publish a major new fantasy series of young adult books by the New York Times bestselling author Tahereh Mafi.

The bestselling SHATTER ME series and its eagerly-awaited RESTORE ME series combine an epic fantasy world with a compelling romance. The books have enormous crossover appeal to both YA and adult fans.

In Shatter Me, a fragile young teenage girl is held captive, locked in a cell by the Reestablishment – a harsh dictatorship in charge of a crumbling world. But this is no ordinary teenager. Juliette is a threat to the Reestablishment’s power, as a touch from her can kill. One touch is all it takes. Not only is she a threat, she is potentially the most powerful weapon they could have. Juliette has never fought for herself before but when she’s reunited with the one person who ever cared about her, the depth of the emotion and the power within her become explosive.

The SHATTER ME series will be published for the first time in the UK by Farshore’s Electric Monkey imprint. They will be simultaneously released on 06 March 2018 with the hotly anticipated sequel Restore Me, so UK readers can read this compelling series of young adult books without missing out.
