There are lots of ways you can celebrate reading this snowy and blustery World Book Day.
The theme of this year’s World Book Day is ‘Share a Story’, and thankfully cuddling up under a blanket and reading something with your loved ones is a perfectly lovely way to spend a snowy afternoon – whether that’s on World Book Day itself, or over the weekend.
My Book About Me by Mr. Silly is a World Book Day 2018 book for younger readers.
My Book About Me by Mr. Silly
Mr Silly’s story began with himself, but then he decided to include his friends. He knew that if his friends were in the book then they would want to read it, just like you.
Enjoy this very silly book about Mr Silly’s book!

Share a Story
We’d love to hear from people who have taken ten minutes out of their day to share an Egmont story with someone else!
Whether you’re bundled under blankets reading My Book about Me by Mr. Silly, reading a chapter of your favourite book to your class, giving a friend a book you loved that you want them to read, or just sharing your favourite things about a character or a book with your followers on twitter – we’d love to hear how you’re sharing stories today!
We’d also love to see your Egmont World Book Day costumes – whether you made it to school or had a snow day! Just tag us on twitter to show off your bookish creations.
